The effect of this training aid is identical to the German reins with the advantage of having only one pair of reins in the hands.
The aim is to correct a too high or misaligned position of the neck.
The howlett is delivered with a pair of canvases reins with stoppers. This is a special pair of reins with metal D-rings (3 on each rein) to attach the trainging aid.
